I wasnt great about updating the blog over the summer!
Since the last post here are our updates:
Anniversary- I planned Saturday July 31st as a suprise day for Jeremy. I planned a day in Taylors Falls. We went and spend the day hiking and sight seeing. It was wonderful!
Sunday morning we woke up and JEremy was suprising me with the plans for Sunday, our anniversary. He got me in the car and wouldnt give any hints where we were going. Well, we arrived at Stouts Island Lodge in Wisconsin. At first the parking lot he pulled into looked like a run down shack, no kidding, he even had a nervous look on his face :) Then we found the ferry we boarded and they took us to the island. The place was wonderful! Very relaxing and fun!
I had a friends bachelorette party and wedding in August and we ended the summer at Breezy for Labor Day weekend.
I started grad. school over the summer. I am getting my certificate in addiction studies so I can become a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. I finished one class this summer and am currently taking two more classes. My plan it to tie it in to the social work masters program that I will be applying to this fall to hopefully start next fall, they have a long waiting list!
The company that Jeremy works for was bought by an investment firm. So fare changes havent been noticeable and arent expected on a large scale. Jeremy is doing more estimating with fewer project manager jobs.
Jeremy's parents and Brad and Kate are coming to MN to visit the second weekend in October, we are very excited! The house will also hopefully be finished by then ;) We started in on the basement. So far we had everything torn out. My dad and Jeremy got the ceiling put in this week. Jeremy has the bathroom almost finished. Yet to be done is the walls need to be painted, ceiling, and carpet. It will SO nice to have it finished.
The Finley update: He is probably about 45-50 pounds. He isnt very tall but growing. He has a habit of going into the shower and eating the soap! THe only side effect to this that we have noticed is that 1. we got through soap more often and 2. he has very strong smelling DOVE breath. He loves the dog park and playing with the other dogs!
Well, I think that is all for now. I PROMISE that I will be pictures updated this weekend. There will be lots, check them out!
Hope everyone had a great summer and is having a great start of the school year!

Busy Summer!
Jeremy and I have had a very busy and fun summer!
Last weekend was our first weekend home since Memorial Weekend.
Summer (so far) re-cap:
-The first weekend in June we were able to fly to Chicago to suprise Jeremy's dad at his retirment party. It was a quick weekend home to Chicago that consisted of a good party with family, the guys shooting the BB Gun at pop bottles (I may have joined in), and finally a stormy day with Karen and I in the basement playing pool and sharing some wine while the guys check out the storms from the deck.
-There were two fishing trips in June. first the Edbergs all went up to Leach Lake and well all we heard from the trip was a bunch of fish stories. Then Jeremy and I, and my parents along with my grandparents met Karen and Alan out in Algoma. Girls did some shopping while the guys fished. This trip resulted in more fish stories and also the girls getting their breakfast paid for by another large fishing group of guys.
-July 4th we had a beautiful weekend up at Breezy Point. And then the next weekend we were off to Mercer, WI to meet with Jeremy's family. What a great weekend! Beautiful cabin, kayaking, sailing, biking, hiking, waterfalls, and games.
-It was another year for us at BBQ Days bean bags tournament in Belle Plaine the third weekend in July. Jeremy was the 2008 champ and well this year with the luck of the draw we were partners, yes, husband and wife. Next year I am making a rule that husband and wife pairs and not permited.
Well that gets us up to date on our big weekends. Other updates: Finley is growing like a weed. This week he even gained his spiderman skills and climbed over our chain link fence. I didnt even know this was possible! But our neighbor witnessed it and she said it was quite the sight. As for the rest of our summer, we have small trips planned for our anniversary weekend this weekend, Jeremy's aunt Sue and David's wedding in Michigan on the 14th, and I have two bachelorette parties in August to attend- Jenna will be getting married on August 28th (my personal attendant), and Becca October 9th.
House projects are wrapping up. We are just finishing up putting some landscaping plants and rock in the backyard and then Jeremy will be starting on the basement. Pictures will be updated by next week from our summer so far!
Enjoy! :)

We hope that everyone is having a great start to 2010!
2010 has been a busy year for us so far. We spend New Years snowmobiling up north and then went to Florida the middle of January to visit with Jeremy's grandparents. The weather wasnt super warm but definetly better than Minnesota :)
I will say that February is also a big month, its my birthday month and Valentine's Day (dont forget Jeremy ;) We are looking forward to spending Valentines weekend in Duluth. We are planning on relaxng and doing some cross county skiing.
Well I think that finished our small update, I also will be putting pictures up from our honeymoon from November on the shutterfly page. We went to Aruba Thanksgiving week and had a fabulous time. We decdied it was the most tropical climate we have spend a week in it was 90 some degrees during the day and even into the evenings. Aruba also has a constant 15-20 mile and hour "blow". You will notice this from the hair in some of the photos, although one day I said enough is enough and bought a hat! Without this wind I really think the temperatures would have been close to unbearable. Many nights we get in from being out in the sun all day and realize oh I guess we got more sun than we thought...We had a great time and would recommend Aruba to anyone although we would say that it was way more "Americanized" than we expected.
